Code OF CONDUCT

A. GUIDING PRINCIPLE
To provide a safe and conducive learning environment for the pupils to learn, grow and build character.
1.Tutors/Trainers/Coordinators are not allowed to touch or hug pupils regardless of gender.
2.Pupils are not encouraged to touch or hug Tutors/Trainers/Coordinators. In cases where the pupil persists, report the issue to the co-ordinator.
3.Tutors/Trainers/Coordinators should not be left in a room/enclosed area with just one pupil without another adult present.
4.Tutors/Trainers/Coordinators are not to engage pupils on any social media platform nor exchange telephone numbers.
5.The Company reserves the right to take legal action on tutors/trainers/Coordinators who behave inappropriately towards pupils.


B. MANAGEMENT OF PUPILS
To ensure the safety of each pupil.
The Tutors/Trainers will have to effectively manage the pupils’ behaviour and attitude positively.
1.Deal considerately and justly with each pupil, and seek to resolve problems, including discipline, according to the law and the respective centre’s policies and rules.
2.No corporal punishment such as burpees, standing out in the sun or outside the classroom, deprivation resulting in mental distress is to be administered.
3.Assist in the management of the pupils during the programme, such as getting the pupils to assemble, bringing the pupils to the security gate after dismissal, and when incidents happen.


C. PUNCTUALITY
1.Report to the assembly area of the school at least 15 minutes before the start of the programme on the first day of the class or if it is your first time going to the school.
2.Report to the school 15 minutes before the start of the programme. Preparations such for getting ready for the class, such as gathering worksheets, signing out equipment, checking availability of rooms, must be done before the start of each class.


D. DRESS CODE
1.Dress appropriately and in a manner that maintains respect, establishes credibility and upholds the good reputation of the Company. The overall appearance should be one that is smart and professional looking.
2.Clothes that are tight fitting, too short (4 inches or more above the knee), have a deep neckline, or translucent should be avoided.
3.Prints or slogans should not be offensive.
4.Body piercings are to be removed and tattoos are to be covered to conform to the centre’s policy.
